不信不立，不诚不行。诚信就是要诚实守信，重契约，守规则，言必信、行必果。佛教要在诚信中国建设中发挥作用，就要坚持以法为教、以戒为师，坚持传承佛教丛林清规，坚持与时俱进完善现代化寺院制度。戒律是佛教一切行为准则的基石，是佛教得以正法久住的生命所在。
One cant live without trustworthiness; one cant go farther without honesty. Integrity means to be honest and trustworthy, to respect contracts, to observe rules, to honor your words with real action. If Buddhism is to play a role in the integrity construction in China, it must adhere to the principle of taking Dharma as its teaching and precepts as its teacher, adhere to inheriting the monastic rules of Buddhism, and adhere to keeping pace with the times to perfect the modern temple system. Precept is the foundation of all Buddhist rules and is the lifeline for Buddhism with true Dharma abiding long.
